Fictional Character Biography Born with powerful psychic abilities the young Morgan Stone spent many years on physiatrists' couches, in mental institutions and under heavy medication before he finally learned the value of keeping secrets and the inherent dangers of being different. Always fearful of having the truth of discovered, Morgan spent much of his life attempting to deny the things he knew and to, if not become like everyone else, then at least learn to pretend that he was. Sadly, Morgan's desire to deny who he was only caused even more pain, isolation and frustration. Eventually Morgan found it almost impossible to distinguish between who he really was and the mask he presented to others. After his parents were killed in a collision with a drunk driver, Morgan was left orphaned and sent to stay in various foster homes before finally coming to live with an elderly grandmother. Finding himself in yet another unfamiliar situation, his feelings of isolation and being different only grew. His desire to understand who he was only served to make Morgan even more of an outsider. Even to those he called his friends, Morgan was always a mysterious stranger.
Their work together eventually lead to both unexpected results and varying levels of success but not without sometimes disastrous results. Morgan discovered himself able to "see" into the minds of others. Finding himself physically stronger, his senses and intuition heightened, he also found that his thoughts, feelings, emotions and memories would become unintentionally merged with those around him. The result was Morgan's slow mental breakdown and inevitable death at the hands of the criminal businessman, Bull Cartney, and the mysterious Sister Death, assassin for a secretive Japanese organization known only as the "Sect". "Reality isn't what you think it is. There are other worlds that exist hidden within the framework of our own. Worlds separated only by the fragile walls of our perceptions. These walls are beginning to thin, holes are forming and things are slipping through." Powers and Abilities Morgan Stone is a powerful psychic, possessing the ability to draw in energy and to use it as he desires. Morgan regularly finds himself as often at the mercy of his abilities as he is in control of them. Repeatedly being driven without his knowledge towards purposes and needs that he himself is unaware.
