Creature Features
Nothing ever goes as plan. I don't know why I bother to make 'em. Let this be a lesson to all you kids out there: Life ain't always so hot. Make the best of it and laugh about it if you can.
I was feeling pretty good last night. Good until I had an accident on the way home last night after leaving work. The roads were slick and I didn't stick. Apparently. Without going into too many details which I'm not interested in re-hashing at the moment, suffice it to say that I no longer have a face and will spend the rest of my life walking on my hands.
Such is life.
I am, at this very moment, thinking about "Creature Features". I loved Creature Features growing up and think the absence of Creature Features may just be the number one reason for our current economic collapse and the collapse of the traditional family and kid's today! Sheesh. When I was a kid we didn't have it so easy. No we did not. No Ipods or personal porn-finders. I mean, computers. We didn't even have dirt back then so were were forced to just dream of eating dirt. Like the rich kids. What was I talking about? Oh. Yeah. I was lamenting that there seems to be no more Creature Features anywhere and how sad this is. A great horror host can make bad movies a blast and good movies a life-changing experience.
Why, you wonder, am I talking about this? (Have I already asked this? or said that you were asking this? Never mind. Not important.) 'Cause I'd sure like to sit back and watch it. Them. Whatever.
Here are a few links for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about (You can always bookmark your games and porn and go back later.) and those who remember and miss'em too.
Anyway, here we go. Wrap up in a warm blanket and get yerself a baseball bat 'cause things are gonna' get dark ...
"Gruesome ghouls and grisly ghosts, Wretched souls and cursed hosts, Vampires bite and villains creep, Demons scream and shadows sleep. Blood runs cold in every man, Fog rolls in and coffins slam, Mortals quake and full moon rise, Creatures haunt and terrorize..."

I used to love staying up late Fridays (or was it Saturday's?) and watch these movies that did truly terrify me. Yes. Creature Features was, and remains, a strong influence in me and the work I create. Ain't that a hoot? I could tell you were but what fun would that be?
A few cool clips:

Okay. I'm having too much fun here. I'm thinking that if you wanna' see more, you will and I only have so much time to play. (Kinda'.)
