Once there were heroes.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love the pulps. I love 'em and I love all the various branches of the pulps; comic strips, comic books, film and television. There's just something about the stories, the characters and the energy of the pulps that draws me in and keeps me there. Many of the greatest fictional characters had their roots in the pulps. Tarzan, Conan and my particular favorite ... Sherlock Holmes. Because of my appreciation (obsession) of the pulps and that particular brand and style of fiction it seems appropriate that I should create a book titled, "Five Star PULP". In the pages of "PULP" I am presenting my pulp characters and ideas. What I would have done if I'd been lucky enough to have lived during those heady days of such unbridled creative enthusiasm. If I were around in the 1920's and 30's I'd like to think that I'd have worked in the pulps. At the very least I know that I'd have devoured them. The pulps are fantastic fantasy fiction that encompass just about everything from horror to western to the supernatural and adventure and everything else imaginable. The pulps were cool. The are cool and I believe that my "PULP" is cool as well. Ninety years late perhaps, but "PULP" is my contribution to the continuing history of pulp magazines, stories and characters. They were heroes then. Of course this is now. Better late than never. Or so they say.

Seems that ComicSpace is down. Not there. Not available. Screwed up. A mess. Gone. Dissappeared. I just want it to be known that I didn't do it. I think.
