Nothing.

I told ya' there was nothing here and still you just had to look anyway. Why are we like this? As a species, I mean? We are an insatiably curious bunch and, I suspect, it leads to all sorts of entanglements. Unnecessary entanglements. I told you not to look, and you looked anyway. You did. I probably would too. It's not Lot's wife's fault that she was turned to a pillar of salt. It was human nature. We'd all probably eat the apple too. Screwed from the get-go. That's us.

I'm working on creating a mythology. I've no idea why. I just am. I think too much. You'd think I'd give myself a break now and then just out of simple kindness. Apparently not. Whatever.

The Seven Deadly Sins:
1. Lust
2. Gluttony
3. Greed
4. Sloth (*)
5. Wrath
6. Envy
7. Pride

Hum. When it comes to these "sins", I'm not doing so well. How about you?

(*) Sloth originally referred to sadness or despair. Now the word generally refers to being lazy. I'm just saying.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse: Conquest, War, Famine and Death. (Only Death is directly named in the Bible. I've no idea (yet) where they came up with the others. Maybe a dinner party?)

I think about some really odd stuff. I don't know why.

It's the weekend again and I guess this post hasn't been totally about nothing after all. (In a way.) Maybe it's a good thing you did looked. Your life has been justifiably enhanced. Your time well spent. Your mother would be so proud. (Which would be number seven.)
