I define success differently than I suspect most people do. To me success isn't about money or fame, recognition or respect, it's about doing what I want, how I want and giving it all I've got. It's a darn good thing that I define success differently than most people or I'd be in serious trouble and be forced to re-examine how I've wasted an entire lifetime here on this spinning blue and green chunk of mud and rocks. My brother Ken has been designing computer icons, graphics and whatnot. I say whatnot because I'm not really sure what it is he's doing and/or what it is what he's doing is called. I can't quite follow it. They are shiny little baubles and clickie things. Web logos and game pieces and ... ahhh ... stuff-stuff-thingies. I only mention this because I found out a few days ago that his fan base, his popularity and media-defined "success" blows me out of the water. His "whatnots" are about 1,000,000 times more popular than my comic art. I wish I were exaggerating but I'm not. I'm actually very pleased that he's having such media-defined "success" with his #$%@&&%* work. I am. Happy. I'm really %^$##&* happy for him. Good $#&%*%# job there.

Ken's the one who really got me started drawing comic books when we were kids. Actually, he and my dad did this to me. Ken's done his share of comic book work as well. Besides inking a lot of my work, he's written and drawn a comic book titled "BULLDOG" a few years back and done inking for half a dozen or so publishers. Both with and without me. Funny ain't it that creating computer graphic thingies is where he's found notice. Like being mentioned in those stupid program credits that no one really looks at anyway and various European publications and magazines. I mean, when they're talking about you in German, do you really know what they're saying about you? NO!
@%$#&^%*&!
I'm pleased for him and as soon as I discover what exactly what he does is called, I'll tell you.
...
Things are such and mess and I'm feeling fine. Actually, things are really pretty decent. I think. I hope to have my computer set-up and actually be able to take it home within the next few days. That will be cool. I'll be able to begin getting some work done and maybe even start uploading some new artwork here, on my @%$#&^%*&! successful blog. Isn't that nice?
