Okay. I'm mustard.
I feel sort of ... I don't know. Pulled? Maybe. I just want to relax. Feel a little peace and calm. Have nothing "going on" that needs my attention or to be dealt with. That would be nice.
Okaaay. I'm mustard.
When quizzes and such begin to appear on a blog it is a definite sign that things are going downhill and the person has nothing to talk about. (That would be me. Today.) Of course, on very rare occasions I might actually come across something that seems so cool that I can't help but put it here, but that's not the case today.
I suppose that I should eventually talk about something "real", but I can't think of anything that I want to discuss. I'm tired and I'm lazy but I'll try.
BATMAN: DARKNIGHT
It was good. I'm not sure why everyone is wetting themselves over it though. The Joker was cool. I liked that they went crazy-crazy rather than silly-crazy. I also like that they made the point (pushed it a bit hard really) that some people are evil just because they're evil. Period. They don't need a "reason". Two-Face was really good as well. Nice horror look to him. Good actor. Good motivation and all that. The only down side of the film for me was Batman himself. He just looks stupid. Like Iron Man's embarrassing (flamboyant) little brother. I was also bugged by the Bat-Voice. It made it sound like Bat-Man's Bat-Mask was choking the Bat-Breath out of him. Like a total fake tough guy voice. Sorta' stupid. Still. It was good. Go see it. I'll give it 7 out of 10.
"Griffin's Story" was a good book. The characters was so different from the film (Jumper) that it's hard to believe that it was written after the movie to connect to the movie. In that case ... Not so good. As a stand-alone book? Good.
"Odd Hours" was good as well. I love the character of Odd Thomas and love reading stories with him in it, buuut as a book the plot was rather lame. Boring and even a bit "why-do-I-care". The supporting characters were far more annoying than interesting. Arrogant when I think they were supposed to be enigmatic. I still like the character even if the book's plots can be sorta' tedious. Worth reading if you're an Odd Thomas fan. (I am.) If you're not ... Not so much.
THIS is soooo cool!

You Are Mustard |
![]() Your personality is strong and distinctive. You are beyond quirky. You can stand alone in the world well. You are a strong individual. You sometimes work well with others, as long as there aren't any other strong personalities involved. Your taste in food tends to be simple yet high quality. You can really get into a perfectly prepared sandwich or simple fresh salad. You get along best with ketchup and barbecue sauce personalities. Get you with a salsa personality, and things might become downright nasty! |
