Flash Gordon has been around since the 1930s appearing in comic strips, books, movie serials starring Buster Crabbe, a black and white TV series, a 1980 film starring Sam Jones, a cartoon series and, most recently a new SciFi Channel original program starring Eric Johnson as Flash.
